Firstly a massive thank you to our helpers who supported us for the whole camp, staying over and mucking in whenever needed, as well as on the activities you were assigned too. You were all amazing - thank you for just getting on and doing what needed to be done. Thank you for all those trips to the Burma Trail - it made the children's night, being able to go twice. Your energy and enthusiasm was very much appreciated.
Secondly a massive thank you to all our parent helpers and grandparents, who gave up their time to support us during the day/s - we could not have run the activities so successfully without you all. You all arrived and got on with the tasks or activities assigned to you ensuring that everything ran smoothly, we also appreciated your energy and enthusiasm.
To all the other parents, your children were amazing and I was proud to be on camp with them. From Gordon at Camp, to the Leisure Center staff to our bus drivers, all commented on what a pleasure it was to work with the children of Browns Bay School. Your children were polite, engaged and well behaved at all times.
While at camp, all of Room 16 gave their absolute best effort in trying all that camp had to offer. Many of them overcame challenges they thought they would not be able to conqueror and as their teacher, I am extremely proud of them all.
